Hola! Empanadas are one of Latin America's favorite foods. At Cocina 54, we bring you the best authentic flavors with a twist: our Empanadas are made from scratch with fresh vegetables, antibiotic-free meats, naturally gluten-free and always delicious!
Missing empanadas from Argentina, we started making them in our Austin kitchen for our friends and family. Now, we want to share these beloved recipes with you!

Our Mission
We believe in nourishing food that enables people to live a good life. We believe in keeping it SIMPLE at work, home, and of course, in our food. We built a company worth working for, where family and health are priority.
2016
After years of making empanadas over the weekend so we could have a delicious & convenient snack, we decided to start our company. We did a lot of research and ate a lot of empanadas!! (It was a fun year)
2017
While keeping our day jobs, we started selling empanadas in local stores in Austin. We also got selected by SKU, a great business incubator and we were a Finalist at HEB Quest for Texas Best.
2018
Finally, thousands of consumers enjoy our empanadas in more than 200 HEB stores.
2019
We arrived at Central Market shelves and continue to bring a convenient product to fit consumers busy lifestyle that is made from scratch and delicious.
2020
We can't wait to see how much our company continues to grow throughout the year!
Like our Design?
It is inspired by a type of art originally from Argentina called Filete Porteño, described as a "Brush dancing a Tango". When you visit Buenos Aires, you can find this unique artwork on restaurant windows, public buses and houses.
